Hi! My name is Lisa Carter and I have two great loves (aside from my husband and dogs, that is): yoga & massage therapy! I received my yoga teaching certification in December of 2010 after completing a 500-hour yoga teacher training program in Salt Lake City. I later decided to pursue my love of massage therapy in the fall of 2012. I graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy (UCMT) in October of 2013. After graduation, I attended UCMT's additional Master Bodyworker Course and received my certification through that program in March 2014.
Massage has affected my own life in numerous ways, such as alleviating pain and helping me to better understand how my body functions. I love this work. I thoroughly enjoy working with clients to help them relax, find pain relief, increase range of motion, facilitate healing, and gain a better awareness of their own body's inner workings.
Whether you live in Moab full-time or are just here for the day, I look forward to meeting you and working with you towards your health goals through massage therapy! Goals can range anywhere from simply needing a relaxing massage after a long day of hiking to rehabilitating an injured limb. I will work with you every step of the way, customizing your massage to the day's particular needs.
See you soon!
